Locals often ask if they can bring their horses, donkeys, mules, minis for trimming or shoeing. Absolutely!
At Arkansas Horseshoeing School, learning goes far beyond the classroom. Our students gain real-world experience by working on horses brought in by local owners for trimming and shoeing. Each session is supervised by certified instructors, so horse owners receive quality hoof care while students practice the skills they will use every day as professional farriers.
Public horseshoeing is open to all local horse owners on:
Fridays and Saturdays
Show-up time: 8:30 AM
First come, first served
This program provides students with essential hands-on training and gives the community affordable hoof care in a professional school setting.
